Woven by Nature.
Shaped by Tradition.
We are passionate about fashion. And so when Jijivisha came to be, we began with a simple belief: that fashion can do more. It can honor tradition, uplift communities, and tread gently on the earth.
A product of Nepal; home to some of the world’s most intricate artistry, Jijivisha brings that same hand-to-craft detail into fashion. Every Jijivisha garment is handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans using time-honored techniques like natural dyeing, handloom weaving, and couture-inspired detailing. In a world driven by fast fashion, we choose a slower, more soulful path.
We work closely with small, family-run workshops — not only to preserve endangered traditions but to help them thrive.
Our commitment is rooted in dignity: fair wages, respectful collaborations, and real opportunities for creative and economic growth.
At the end of the day, we don’t just create clothing — we create connections. To place. To a purpose. To a way of living that’s intentional, artistic, human and benevolent. Jijivisha is a reminder that beauty can be meaningful — and sustainability can be elegant. When you wear Jijivisha, you can feel the difference of material that breathes easy, and is good for your skin and the environment.

Our clothes don’t just look good, they do good.

Shavona Shrestha
A businesswoman with over 20 years experience and a lifelong fashion enthusiast, it was only natural for Shavona Shrestha to start a fashion brand. But for her, fashion, like all of her creative pursuits, whether baking vegan cookies or handcrafting her children’s birthday parties, had to be personal. It had to be done with care, intention, and meaning.
So when the idea for Jijivisha began to take shape, Shavona knew it couldn’t be just about aesthetics. The brand had to nourish — not only through how it looked, but spiritually and ethically. Jijivisha would blend haute couture with a living conscience. Much of who Shavona is, is thus, intricately woven into the brand. Whether it is the hands-on process of making each piece, keeping the process and the product Earth-friendly, giving its creators a dignified work culture, or making efforts to preserve ancient traditions and techniques, and creating job opportunities for Nepali youth, there are various aspects of this founder and owner weaved into the brand.
Through Jijivisha, Shavona hopes to bring together everything she believes in: thoughtful living, cultural preservation, beautiful design, and a commitment to doing right by people and the planet. It’s her way of giving back, staying rooted, and building a future where craft and consciousness go hand in hand.
